My mother lived to the great age of 100 years and nearly 6 months. She lived by herself in her flat in South East London, helped by my brother who lived nearby and his family, until she was 97. She then moved into a Nursing Home near my brother, and lived happily there until she died peacefully on 23 August 2003.

Brother Basil
He died from cancer, bravely fought, on Sunday, 3 April 2011, aged 80 years. RIP
